the "embed" url tweak is a very quick and dirty work around. you lose a
number of other youtube features with it, such as the comments section
being viewable on the same page. also, it's not required for every
youtube page. thus, i'm not sure a push on all youtube pages to go to
the embed tweak would be beneficial. sadly, the ideal option would be
for google to get its act together here.
