current situation

- - globe lost its maintainer
- - atlas is maintained by phw
- - globes code might be better according to Karsten
- - globes graphs are more powerful (user can choose time span to a
certain extent)
- - a few people(?) prefer altas' UI over globes due to excessive
whitespace in globe

Eventually the one actually doing the maintenance will be the one
deciding which one will be focused on - I guess.
