 Thanks, adding josephbisch who did work on the Debian related Gitian
 parts. josephbisch: Do you think that's a good way forward, especially
 regarding upstreaming? If not, do you have better ideas we should try?

 (FWIW: dcf's change fixed the problem for me as well)
