 update:
 I closed torbrowser, renamed ~/.tor-browser-en, reopened torbrowser.
 Now Panopticlick reports 1615x937 as my screen size.

 Both values, 1615x902 (my first comment) and 1615x937, were obtained while
 running torbrowser maximised!
