 Thanks for reporting this! The
 [https://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html#ACTION_ASSIST
 documentation] isn't descriptive, but this sounds like the missing piece
 in #30853. Also, there is [https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33422213
 /action-assist-intent-on-marshmallow-android-6-0 mention] of this action
 being deprecated in newer versions, but that the documentation doesn't say
 that.

 We should investigate what this provides (overall) and test if a build
 without `ACTION_ASSIST` support allows unconditional screenshotting.
