[Tor www-team] Graphic Design thoughts

While I personally found the design quite appealing, I can understand
that a complete "rebranding" (if I may use the term) of the Tor logo
is quite dangerous.

Design by comittee can easily go wrong, but in an open source project,
it is hard to do anything else and still involve the community.

Would it be an option to collect some proposals, including "just leave
it as it is right now", and then have the community vote on what they
like best? And if the tpo-people dislike the decision, they can still
veto it.

That's the only idea I have right now on how to avoid drama and design
by committee. Feel free to improve or shoot it down.
