From duncan at botany.studio Wed Jul 10 15:39:37 2024 From: duncan at botany.studio (Duncan R.) Date: Wed, 10 Jul 2024 11:39:37 -0400 Subject: [ux] =?utf-8?q?Archiving_the_Tor_UI/UX_discussion_list_?= =?utf-8?b?8J+roQ==?= Message-ID: Hello fellow UX/UI subscribers, Since the launch of the Tor Forum[0], most UX-related discussions that do not take place on IRC or Matrix have moved there instead. While we don't have a dedicated "UX" category on the forum, there's been healthy discussion of UX topics in the following categories ? to name a few: - Feedback / Tor Browser Alpha - Feedback / Tor Browser - Feedback / Websites - News (notably release posts) - Support / Censorship Circumvention - General Discussion As per our migration plan for old discussion lists that are no longer widely used, now that the Tor Forum is self-hosted[1], and tor-talk has been archived[2], we intend to deprecate and archive the UI/UX discussion list in the coming days. While the discussion list will no longer accept new emails, the UX Archive will remain online for users to read and reference historical discussions for the foreseeable future[4]. For those who prefer to stick with email instead of the forum's web interface, a "mailing list mode" is also available that allows you to receive and respond to notifications from specific categories via email instead. Thank you for all your participation over the years. I hope to see you on the Tor Forum, IRC or Matrix[5] in the near future :) [0] https://forum.torproject.org/ [1] https://blog.torproject.org/tor-project-forum-migration/ [2] https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-talk/2023-June/045817.html [4] https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/ux/ [5] https://support.torproject.org/get-in-touch/irc-help/ *** Duncan / donuts Product Manager & UX Team Lead duncan at torproject.org -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
