In this type of environment, it's worth looking at Access Labs' version
of Torouter. It's fairly stable and works well, but you realistically
should be a more advanced user before you try to replace your router's
firmware with Torouter.
Also keep in mind that 50 devices shouldn't be on one consumer-grade
router to begin with. That will grind things down to a very VERY slow
speed no matter what.
