Doing that may let them match you as the same user who was on other
sites that talk about activity they dont like.  Signing up then gives
them all sorts of intrusive personal info that helps them profile you
and make it harder to be anonymous even if you decide later to go off
the grid.
Tor Browser Bundle adds a lot of protection against browser fingerprinting.
