Sometimes it takes Tor a while to collect network status documents. In
my experience, if you just let Tor keep trying for a few minutes, say
5-10mins, then this problem will work itself out. Of course, if the
directory servers are unreachable from your location, then the problem
isn't going to go away. You should try entering the IP address of a
directory server in your browser to just to make sure.
