If it's internal CPU temperature, it's ok for a C3. They're designed to run
hot.

I had almost 120 deg C, when I tried running 1.3 GHz Nehemia overnight sans
fan (with an extra-lage passive heatsink). This might greatly reduced the 
lifetime of the system, but it's been running fine since.

Does Tor use OpenSSL? Can you force it into using AES?

I now have Tor at load average: 0.08, 0.05, 0.01, top shows 2% CPU, and 7%
MEM. This is AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+, 512 kBytes and BandwidthRate 110 KB
