Hi,

maybe the freenet users are just paranoid?

The current german "Linux Magazin 08/05" topics are all about privacy
covering cryto filesystems, tunneling protocols throug firewall and
application proxies and anonymous surfing by using JAP, too.

This magazin has this to say: "Jap is highly trust worthy. Several
attempts of the Office against Crime to seize user data from them
failed because the JAP operators went to court against it and won.
(German) law obligates nobody to collect user data he does not need.
Because JAP is cost free, there need no user data be collected for the
account." and points to

The german "Linux Magazin" has a good reputation, and I have tried JAP
myself and therfor I know that the german "Computer Chaos Club"

	https://www.ccc.de

(see or babelfish

	http://www.ccc.de/faq/ccc?language=de#the_club

for their self-manifest.)

is offering an own cascade. This leads _me_ to the opinion that JAP is
trust worthy, too.

Sascha
