Tor is a volunteer network, so whatever is best for you is what we have
to accept. :) Personally, I regard the default exit policy as maximally
good, and so I use it on my exit server.
As for performance, I don't think exit policy affects performance. As I
understand it, it's all about how much bandwidth you send through your
server and how much CPU muscle your machine has. I could be wrong though...
