[tor-reports] Kevin's report for January 2014

- I setup a dedicated machine for doing gitian builds.
- I got up to speed with the gitian build system.
- I nearly completed a patch [1] to integrate fteproxy into TBB v3.6.
- I met with asn at RWC [2] to discuss pluggable transports and fteproxy.
- My advisor, Tom Shrimpton, gave a talk at RWC about Format-Transforming
Encryption. I had lots of good discussions with people in the crowd about
FTE and how it is being used in Tor.
- I attended the two pluggable transport meetings.

- I also released versions 0.2.3, 0.2.4, and 0.2.5 of fteproxy. These
releases focused on removing dependencies on third party libraries,
performance improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements (to the build
process) to support integration with the gitian build process.
