Calling "rude" people who, to make a point, use a bit of obvious and harmless humor, is rude.

This is hardly the case. Computers are so widespread that an old desktop system with even twice the power of the Pi can be had for buttons.
There is no need to be rude about the suggestions that people on this list make.
