Well, "MiB" is a completely other unit than MB, so that's no lunacy, but
in fact a different unit called "Mebibyte". Mebibytes are exactly 1024 x
1024 bytes or 2^10 multiplied by 2^10 bytes and those binary prefixes
give a more "accurate" representation of the size than the SI prefixes.
