(FWD) Sync system time with Tor network?

If tor is bitching with an offset, as you said it is, script that into date(1).
I know of no real reason not to run ntpdate/ntpd in a sandbox. Nor do I
frequently encounter a system that doesn't have at least something other
than Tor bound to the network stack.
