You can start talking any time you're ready, but subscribers might still be joining for the next few days (and until we announce the list).

That said, we need to work out where to announce this list, and what to say:

What do we say?
Introducing tor-onions at lists.torproject.org <mailto:tor-onions at lists.torproject.org> , a mailing list to discuss operating Tor onion (hidden) services.
We'll talk about how to configure onion services, operate them, manage security, and improve performance.
(Development of onion service features in tor will continue to be discussed in tor-dev at lists.torproject.org <mailto:tor-dev at lists.torproject.org> .)
