The first June release of metrics-lib/DescripTor is available:

     https://dist.torproject.org/descriptor/1.8.0/

The theme of this release is to prepare more efficient descriptor
processing and some of the non-backwards compatible changes to come
in version 2.0.0.

Main changes:
Raw descriptor contents are now stored with less overhead in-memory;
parsing methods were streamlined and the class structure of the 
implementation is improved.
Of course, all bugs surfacing during this work were removed,
for details see [1].
