Hi Nick,

here are the four patches for proposal 155.

I also put some thoughts into generalizing parallel circuit
establishment to all circuits, but for the moment I'd rather stick to
the simple patch 2 here. The two code changes in that patch are exactly
what is needed for on-demand circuit creation; for pre-established
circuits this might be different. Anyway, I hope that the code changes
in patch 2 will give hints for the implementation of a similar behavior
for general circuits.
