Bug: buffers.c:1688: assert_buf_ok: Assertion ch->data >= &ch->mem[0] failed

A few days ago one of my servers triggered:

Unfortunately it doesn't look like a core dump has been created.

The system is running Debian (didn't have the time to
depinguinate it yet) with the noreply.org binaries.
