+A. Tor protects eavesdroppers from learning sites that you visit. However, information sent unencrypted over the Internet using plain HTTP can still be intercepted and can sometimes be used to identify you. So in addition to using Tor, you should make sure that the sites you visit offer strong HTTPS encryption. You can verify this in the URL bar: if your connection is encrypted, the address will begin with “https://”, rather than “http://”
