 Ghost and I did some performance testing, and it looks like a
 supermajority (estimated more than 70%) of the delay that I was
 attributing to this bug may actually be attributable to inefficiencies in
 the `name_show` RPC command in Electrum-NMC.  Since the `name_show`
 command is scheduled for a refactor soon (and that refactor mostly
 involves removing code, unlike this bug which involves adding more code),
 I'm going to put this bug on hold until `name_show`'s refactor is
 complete, and then I'll re-evaluate whether this bug is still a problem.
