 yodoall, re-reading your original post
 - your screen size is `1440x900` (real value from default Firefox)
 - LB disabled - inner window is `1440x789`
 - LB enabled - `1400x700` is utilized

 So you're maximizing the browser. The available inner window is limited by
 the OS taskbar and chrome. LB'ing is correctly grabbing as much real
 estate as possible (200px wide, 100px high) -> `1440` available = `1400`
 used, `789` available = `700` used

 At lower resolutions the height steps are reduced to 50px. Where we draw
 the cutoff from 100px to 50px steps in height is a not finalized.
