 acat: I'm inclined to agree with you surrounding the error handling around
 inputting proxy (and other) settings. I think a subsequent ticket
 surrounding UX improvements around what good error messaging/prompting
 looks like in the about:preferences context.

 I still need to do some string shuffling/editing in tor-launcher which I'm
 doing next.
