 That would suggest that TB on close/exit is responsible for orderly
 connection closeout, even forceful with e.g. abortive close (tcp RST) to
 avoid CLOSE_WAIT or TIME_WAIT states (see: socket close(3), SO_LINGER
 option with zero timeout).
