Comment:

 There is no conspiracy here: Firefox (which Tor Browser is derived from)
 dropped support for those older platforms, so Tor Browser had to drop
 support as well. Also, those older systems do not receive OS security
 updates, which means they are insecure platforms and should not be used by
 most people who have a good reason to use Tor Browser. Tails might be an
 option for some of the old computers that people are using.
