 We should find out how Firefox ESR influences Tor Browser here. Assuming
 this is happening again, could you

 1) Copy the whole non-functioning Tor Browser somewhere else

 2) Install Firefox ESR again and make sure Tor Browser is now working
 again on your desktop

 3) Compare the non-functioning copy with the now functioning one

 I'd be interested in what differs between the copy and the functioning
 one.

 Additionally, if you are installing Tor Browser are you creating
 shortcuts? If so, could you delete those shortcuts and install Tor Browser
 without it? Maybe somehow those shortcuts are playing a role here...
