 I'm fine with merging Sebastian's patch, though I see there is more
 discussion following.

 Dhalgren, how would it be if we took Sebastian's patch in 0.3.2 now, and
 then discussed further fixes as changes on top of that?

 As an alternative, I'd also look at another patch, but I'm hoping to get
 this fix tested in another 0.3.2 alpha to be released early this week.
