Comment (by jb.1234abcd):
I set it up as follows.
My regular (production) tor browser is in dir
/home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/firefox
I unzipped debug symbols file in dir:
/home/jb/Downloads/Debug/Browser/
$ ls -al /home/jb/Downloads/Debug/Browser/
drwx------ 4 jb jb 4096 Jan 1 2000 .
drwx------ 3 jb jb 4096 Jan 1 2000 ..

I overwrote original files with unzipped debug files:
$ cp -pr /home/jb/Downloads/Debug/Browser/* /home/jb/Downloads/tor-
browser_en-US/Browser/
$ coredumpctl gdb 2186
...
Executable: /home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/firefox
...
Reading symbols from /home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-
US/Browser/firefox...done.
...
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
...
(gdb)
(gdb) br main
(gdb) run
Starting program: /home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/firefox
/bin/bash: /home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/firefox: cannot
execute binary file: Exec format error
/bin/bash: /home/jb/Downloads/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/firefox: Success
During startup program exited with code 126.
(gdb)
It does not seem to work ...
Can you give me instructions how to set it up properly ?
Then I can re-run the debugging session and capture whatever data you need
to figure out what caused the dump.
