 Have you seen this new repo: https://github.com/n8fr8/tor-android ?

 I have separated out the building of the tor binary (and for now, polipo),
 from the Orbot app itself. This is meant to make it easier for any app to
 bundle Tor.

 You can see the changes in my dev repo of Orbot here, where orbotservice
 now includes the tor-android-binary dependency:
 https://github.com/n8fr8/orbot/blob/master/orbotservice/build.gradle#L31

 Would you want to update your script for the tor-android project?
