 Isabela and I are thinking about this problem! We'll update you when we
 have a conclusion.

 My initial thoughts:
 * I am also not a fan of rescaling the bar.
 * I think the progress bar should accurately represent the progress made,
 so not starting at zero seems less confusing of the two.
 * Glad to know that if we want to do the above, we can cache the
 percentage and it never goes backwards.
 * The ideal thing for me would be that it starts at 0% every time, because
 the progress actually starts from 0% every time.
