 It looks like comments are continuing to be lost.

 I confirm what boklm said, that after the first disappearance, new
 comments were still being posted. For example
 https://blog.torproject.org/blog/tor-browser-65a3-released had started to
 accrue comments again (many of them saying "what happened to the
 comments?"). But now the [https://blog.torproject.org/ index page]
 ([https://archive.fo/bXkjA snapshot]) says "4 comments" for that post, and
 clicking through to https://blog.torproject.org/blog/tor-browser-
 65a3-released ([https://archive.fo/jHagq snapshot]) show no comments at
 all.

 Going back through the post history, posts as old as
 https://blog.torproject.org/blog/tor-browser-603-released
 ([https://archive.fo/II2w4 index snapshot]) are showing no comments.
