Comment:

 This was always toggleable in Preferences > Content > Formattings, but the
 settings beyond `none` were rather permissive.  I've narrowed down the
 options to `none`, which is still the above very restrictive patch, and
 now `basic`, which fulfills the ask in this ticket.  Thanks.
