 Interesting, maybe:

 1. just click on the desirable security level without click on ok (closing
 the window, in this case the 'ok' button is a redundant think).

 2. shortcut; well, I think it isn't the ideal, because should  be a very
 easy at point to be used acidentaly, but dosen't make sense use a too
 complex shortcut, in counterpoint of it, looks nice to have a option to
 use one function with mouse or keyboard.

 3. another idea is use a right click on tor button (or where else can put
 it) and open some options, like NoScrit do.

 4. one icon exclusive for it; also a think to thing, yeah?

 5. my last idea is to use the slider next to the circuit diagram in the
 torbutton.

 well, let's debate it :)
