 > Disabling JIT would provide security benefits to JavaScript users
 without breaking Facebook and other sites. It's just a performance
 optimization which doesn't provide new functionality, after all.

 On a side note, I brought this up, and argued the case for this (in
 general, beyond the sandbox) at the browser meeting today and was informed
 that some sites have performance degradation that render them unusable
 without the JIT (ISTR mega.nz being mentioned).
