Comment (by yawning):

 I renamed `/usr/include/openssl` to `/usr/include/openssl-fuck` along with
 `/usr/lib/libcrypto.a` and `/usr/lib/libssl.a`, and rebuilt my tor and got
 the same results, and the configure output looks fine, unless NetBSD's gcc
 has an odd idea of what `-I` and `-L` mean.
