 There is something weird going on with Tor being launched via stem.

 If Tor is launched with the same configuration via the command line,
 things work properly. torrc:
 SocksPort 9050
 SOCKSListenAddress 127.0.0.1
 ControlPort 9051

 If it's launched via stem, socks username/password are missing.
