 you could try it using kernelex and search for missing dlls.

 even if almost nobody uses win9x anymore i think that compatibility should
 never be broken on purpose. code cleanup just as well as usability
 optimisation is often an euphemism for feature removal which developers
 use to wield authority over users and software. i hope it doesnt mean what
 it usually does.
