 I can't replicate this issue. I'm using the same version of tor (2.6.10)
 and likely TorBrowser.app (5.0.2) on the same version of OS X (10.10.5
 (14F27)). I'm using a MacBook Air (2012), but that's unlikely to make a
 difference.

 To diagnose this issue, it would help if we could see any system log or
 diagnostic reports (crash logs) related to tor, Tor Browser, firefox,
 killing processes, or anything around the time tor is terminated.

 These might be in:
 /var/log/system.log
 /Library/Logs/DiagnoisticReports/{tor,firefox}*
 ~/Library/Logs/DiagnoisticReports/{tor,firefox}*

 These can be accessed using `/Applications/Utilities/Console.app`, or
 using `less` in the terminal.
