 I am curious how you found about Tor Mail given that this release was
 never meant for the public :)

 Yes we are working on it but we don't have a timeline for the next update.
 Right now, I am not aware of any issues with it, after all, it is just
 Thunderbird (unmodified) with TorBirdy. But the question is whether you
 should be using it for critical stuff yet? Probably not, till we are sure
 that things like automatic updates don't break or introduce new leaks.

 I think sticking with TorBirdy for now is a good idea.
