Comment (by starlight):

 Have to backtrack a bit on the cause.  Looking carefully
 at the first event, I see that it was two hours from
 the time the control channel scripts were run and
 the corruption occurred.  Unfortunately this opens
 it up to virtually any possible cause.

 Also note that wherever

    Got a bad signature on a networkstatus vote

 appears in the log it is followed by

    last message repeated 8 times

 This message was eliminated by the ' Tor\['
 filter used when grep'ing the messages from
 the original log.
