Comment (by brade):

 I don't think it is necessarily RTL/LTR related.  The bigger issue is
 where the icon is on the toolbar (which the user could change).  This
 problem isn't as big of a deal with shorter version numbers (see
 attachment TB-ar-abouttor-arrow.png).
