Comment:

 Vidalia is unmaintained, deprecated. Using the tor-launcher add-on now.

 The very issue that lijtac described in original report does does not
 happen with tor-launcher.

 Therefore this can be closed as wontfix because no one is working on
 Vidalia anymore anyhow.
