 Well, we set it to `true` to have certificates stored in memory only. It
 is set in order to avoid disk leaks. That said, I am curious: what happens
 if you set it back to `true` and restart your browser?  Does Sync still
 work?

 We have to fix this for the next release I think. Either by switching the
 preference back or by improving our underlying patch.
