 Ok, I think I've figure out what's going on. There's two issues here:

 https://github.com/kpdyer/fteproxy/issues/165
 https://github.com/kpdyer/fteproxy/issues/167

 I've resolved both issues and pushed the fixes to fteproxy master. I'm
 doing my own build of the TBB now, and we'll see if this fixes the
 nightlies.

 Let's leave this open until we confirm the fix actually works.
