 I still use the torcheck page when I'm playing around with Tor in non-Tor
 Browser ways, so I find it useful.

 I kind of like what http://ip-check.info does in that it checks your user
 agent string and compares it to the Tor Browser's UA string. That page
 will give you a warning and return a yellow onion (instead of green) if it
 detects a non-Tor Browser UA. The problem with checking the UA to detect
 browser version is that UA checks can't tell the difference between
 Firefox 24.4 and 24.5.
