 Eventually debug log ran my test box out of disk space, last heartbeat
 was:

 Mar 17 18:39:15.000 [notice] Heartbeat: Tor's uptime is 3 days 4:47 hours,
 with 20 circuits open. I've sent 3.16 GB and received 3.19 GB.

 I think I'm okay with this branch in light of that.
