 I've been setting:

 user_pref("network.http.pipelining.aggressive", false);
 user_pref("network.http.pipelining.maxrequests", 10);
 }}}

 in my `prefs.js`, and I'm not certain that it entirely fixes the issue,
 but it appears to help immensely.
