Comment:

 Marking this as WONTFIX as the breakage between things built on different
 branches might be even more subtle and hard to debug. A better, more sane
 idea is to have different directories containing the setup (e.g. one for
 master, maint-3.6 and dev) for different branches allowing a faster
 rebundling/re-releasing.
